Foam-in-place Masonry Insulation
This application of RAPCO FOAM is the most efficient way to increase the thermal performance of this type construction. The foam is installed via a hollow probe inserted down the block cavity to the bottom, or through holes drilled into the mortar joints. The foam flows into and completely fills odd shaped and hard to reach areas. This means heat loss is reduced through mortar joints as well as the block. This is not the case with rigid. This application of RAPCO FOAM is the most efficient way to increase the thermal performance of this type construction. RAPCO FOAM will not settle or fall out of openings as occurs with loose fill material.
